Point scoring at shuffleboard:
The gates of the shuffleboard have values from 1 to 4. If there is a stone in each gate, the value is not 10, but gives you a point total of 20. And of course: 2 shuffleboard discs in each gate means 40 points with shuffleboard. In total, a maximum of 148 points can be achieved with 30 stones. 7 sets of 4 in all gates (=7x10x2=140). This means 28 tiles have been used. With the 2 other stones you can then get a maximum of 2×4=8 points. This brings the maximum shuffle score to 148 points.
As an extra, on the score of 148 points, a bonus of 8 points can be gained if the score is achieved in up to two innings. If this 148 is achieved in only one under turn, the shuffler gets one disc back twice. If the 148 is achieved in two innings, the player gets one disc back once. The total score that can be achieved is therefore 148 + 8 = 156
